The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.
Important Pointer Skills:
- Strong Hands on experience in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot 2, Hibernate, JMS
- Experience in Java 8 and JPA
- Good knowledge and hand on experience Microservice, REST API and and SQL
- Should have understanding of security, gateway
- Should be aware of industry standard processes followed for build, deployment, release and application support (CI/CD, Incident/problem/change management etc) and experience in Docker, Junit
- Problem statement understanding and code quality
- Should be team player and good in communication
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new technology applications in partnership with Business and Operations stakeholders to transform the Corporate Bank.
- Work with amazing people in a cross disciplined team, collaborating daily with our business users, Functional Analysts, SRE, UX Designers & UI Developers.
- Shape the future of our technology stack and applying it innovatively to solve complex problems.
- Value software craftsmanship approach to software development, taking pride in well-crafted software that steadily adds value.
- Promoting a DevOps/SRE culture and modern toolchains to support continuous delivery.
Your Skills & Experiences:
- Significant prior experience with developing reusable and performant clean Java code aligned with good architectural and design principles.
- Significant prior experience with Javascript, HTML/CSS and Javascript frameworks(ReactJS, Node.js) as well as strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Relational Database, SQL and ORM (Hibernate, JPA).
- Prior experience working with XP practices and Agile software methodologies as well as building Microservices with REST APIs around big data storage.
- Practical experience with modern DevOps/SRE pipelines and CI/CD tools (Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins or TeamCity).

Salary: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
