We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Large Animal Veterinarian to join an experienced team. As a Large Animal Veterinarian, you will work with farmers to promote the health and productivity of their animals, as well as diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical exams, blood tests, and x-rays to diagnose health issues in large animals
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans for animals that require medical intervention, such as prescribing medications, performing surgeries, and providing follow-up care
• Collaborate with farmers and ranchers to provide advice on herd health management, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Offer emergency care for large animals, including responding to after-hours calls
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology
• Attend conferences and continuing education programs to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• MRCVS or eligible to register
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Availability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotations
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care with compassion and empathy

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. We can also provide visas for eligible candidates.
