As a Family Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our service strategy, driving innovation, understanding, support, and empowerment for primary school-aged children in Cardiff and surrounding areas.
Why We Need You
As a Family Support Officer, you'll offer families the support they need to navigate the challenges of epilepsy. Your role will involve collaborating with various professionals in education, health, social care, and more, to raise awareness about the impact of epilepsy's on young lives and their support networks.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate: with education, health, and early years experts to foster a network of support that facilitates growth, understanding, and inclusivity for children with epilepsy.
- Interactive Workshops: produce and deliver deliver engaging workshops for a variety of audiences that will enrich awareness, encourage empathy, and promote a culture of acceptance.
- Pioneer: be at the forefront of our pilot project, helping to shape the future of epilepsy support, focusing on Cardiff and its surrounding areas, setting the stage for expanded initiatives.
