About the Trust
We’re a community and mental health trust, providing a wide range of services to people of all ages living in Berkshire. And to do this, we employ approximately 4,500 staff who operate from our many sites as well as out in people’s homes and in various community settings.
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Assist with the development and maintenance of efficient and effective office procedures and administrative tasks.
· Plan and prioritise own workload daily, working mainly without supervision and using own initiative.
· Administer all office systems, both electronic and hard copy, across the service, ensuring that services run smoothly through having well planned and organised administrative systems and processes in place.
· Assist in the efficient and accurate recording of data on all electronic systems, including the use of RIO (patient focused database; training will be provided).
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Organisational skills.
· Computer literate with an ability to navigate around various systems and software packages including MS Office, Outlook, Teams, the internet and databases.
· Ability to work effectively in a team and under direction on routine tasks without the need for supervision.
· Demonstrates good customer care and telephone skills
