Factory Operative - Granulation
Ravago Manufacturing are looking for a hardworking candidate to join our recycling team working on our granulation machines, you will be working as part of a team in a production environment ensuring a constant supply of recycled material.
Role
Working as part of a team on the production line you will be responsible for:
- Granulation of scrap plastic from various waste streams (crates, pallets, etc.)
- Segregation of materials into different polymer types prior to granulation.
- Manual separation of parts from scrap. (Handles from crate)
- Granulating materials into big bags.
- Monitoring of big bag stations.
- Maintaining a clean, safe working area adhering to strict housekeeping/ health and safety rules.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, working together to ensure production targets are met and quality regrind is always produced. We would like
- Previous manufacturing/factory experience
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and willing to learn
- Good level of physical fitness for loading of materials
Hours & Pay
Hours are 07:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday with optional Saturday work from 07:00 - 14:00.
Pay is £10.42 per hour (based on age 23+), 42.5 hours per week. Bonus scheme is production based awarded monthly after 3 month probationary period. Average wage pa for operatives in 2022/2023 was OTE £34,500
