Location: Head Office, Nottingham (Hybrid working)


We have a great opportunity for a Digital Content Writer to join The Nottingham’s Marketing team. This is a newly created role to strengthen the team at a really exciting period for the Society.

This role will play a key role in contributing to delivering brilliant customer experiences through the creation of engaging customer-focused content and communications, through our website, blogs, emails and other platforms as required. You will look for opportunities to expand content across platforms and optimise the impact of the Society’s online presence and wider communications. For the first 6 months you will be supporting on an exciting project which will provide great exposure to the wider business.

This is a fantastic time to join The Nottingham’s Marketing team as we go through a period of change where the team will play a critical part! If you have exceptional written communication skills, knowledge of SEO marketing, copywriting and content creation we would love to hear from you. Strong stakeholder management skill is key, alongside prioritisation and attention to detail.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing as a Digital Content Writer-

  • Develop content for our digital marketing channels such as the Society’s websites and social media accounts, as well as occasional supporting in content creation for offline channels.
  • Assist the Customer Experience, Engagement team and wider teams in developing content for acquisition & retention campaigns.
  • Use agreed platforms and tools to build, publish and schedule web pages and emails using set templates and components, which will include a range of media types.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the way we communicate through our digital channels.
  • Advise internal customer facing teams on written and spoken customer communications, making sure that it complies with our language, style and tone of voice.
What we’re looking for –
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Experience in digital content creation with a wider understanding of advertising and social media advertising desirable.

  • Experience using a content management system (CMS) is desirable.
  • Ability to publish content through various digital channels
  • A collaborative and engaging approach to stakeholder management and relationships.
