Job title: Security Manager (FSM)
Location: RAF Coningsby - on site
Salary: £40,689+
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing and operating IAW a Facility Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Line-management responsibilities for the administration and training of the Security Admin Assistants, while overseeing and ensuring the security office meets the objectives of the organisation
- Producing and maintaining a list of all Information System (IS) Hardware and Software
- Producing and disseminating SAPF
- Delivering security briefs as required
- Reviewing, to identify any changes that may impact the accreditation status of the SAPF e.g. Any significant infrastructure changes, any change to CIS and COMMS config or changes that may impact TEMPEST. The GSSO/ISSM must be notified of any changes
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Must hold (or have the ability to attain) a Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
- Knowledge of, security policies, technical security safeguards and operational security measures.
- People Skills – This role involves managing a small security administration team and dealing directly with TTF employees and our customer. The ability to explain security concepts in a clear and friendly manner across all levels of the organisation is key.
- Familiarity and a sound working knowledge of MS Office, IT systems and security\facilities management is desirable
- Previous exposure to MOD / Defense industry is desirable

The FSM team:
As a part of FSM team, you will contribute to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and forms part of a layered approach to security. The primary objective of the FSM is to manage SAPF Security to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SAP information while it is being processed, transported, or stored.
