Pay for Facility Maintenance Technician:
Hourly Range: $30.00 - $40.00 an hour

Required for Facility Maintenance Technician:*
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test at time of hire and random.
- Must possess an unrestricted valid driver’s license.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass respiratory fitness test.
- Non-US Citizen must hold current work visa or green card.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with various cultures and at all levels of the organization.
- Must pass a background check and be able to gain unescorted access to nuclear power stations.

Essential functions for Facility Maintenance Technician:*
Sonic Systems International is seeking a qualified professional to fill the following full-time position in Sunol, CA at GE Hitachi Nuclear research facility.
This position will be responsible for supporting facility maintenance and troubleshooting of Site Facility’s buildings, systems, and grounds, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems and components and general maintenance in a nuclear research and testing facility. Involves working with hand and power tools, heavy equipment, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills.

Desired skills for Facility Maintenance Technician:*
- Nuclear industry experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in facility maintenance is a plus.
- Backhoe, forklift, scissor lift and crane operations are a plus
