Facilities Support Manager
Job Purpose
Our teams purpose is to drive efficiency, simplicity and sustainability into the operations of centres across the IWG brands, all over the world.
We aim to simplify the role of our community managers, by removing from them the burden of supply chain activities, allowing them to focus on providing our customers with a great day at work. This involves the centralisation of our supply chain activities, and globalisation of our standards and processes.
You will support the implementation of programmes designed to reduce the operating costs of our centres across the world, without negatively impacting our customer experience, which makes this both a challenging, but equally rewarding role.
You will support the Global Head of Hard Services by providing analysis of data which will determine the best way for us to achieve operational excellence. We will help you design, develop and deploy new programmes across the world, as well as continue to execute our existing programmes. You will assess and determine the success of specific initiatives as we strive for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in maintaining and operating IWG facilities through administrative and technical tasks.
- Analysing profit and loss (P&L) data for hard services to identify cost saving or revenue generating opportunities, before designing and implementing processes and solutions to improve P&L performance
- Interpreting data, identifying trends, and managing global benchmarking processes
- Gathering and managing data from various sources (such as vendor accreditation)
- Working with internal colleagues and external vendors on various tasks.
- Maintaining records, certificates, contracts, and inventory.
- Ensuring global compliance with legislation, achieving cost savings.
- Collaborating with country teams to optimize supply chain operations.
- Assisting with ad hoc projects for the supply chain team.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years in facilities management, with a primary focus on hard services.
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or Facilities Data Analyst.
- Strong familiarity with statistical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and SAS for analyzing databases.
- Proficient in correcting, organizing, analyzing, and effectively disseminating significant volumes of data.
- Possess a meticulous, curious, and analytical approach to tasks.
- Skilled in comprehending directives, suggesting enhancements, and executing action plans collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and logically in English.
- Capable of excelling in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes achieving results.
- Experience or demonstrated competence in negotiating with vendors.
- Understands the implications of decisions on IWG's performance and stakeholders, displaying commercial acumen.
