What will you do:

• The Facilities Services Advisor will work across a defined region within the Hello Student portfolio covering sites from Birmingham to Aberdeen to support the operational teams with the delivery of planned and reactive facilities activities.
• The role holder will work with external contractors and service providers to deliver services which ensure the standard and integrity of assets remains high, engaging the wider facilities and property team to support in specialist areas as required.
• The role requires extensive travel to visit all properties within the region to develop a firm understanding and knowledge of the assets.
• Establish working relationships with appointed service providers and monitor their performance in line with contract SLAs and KPIs.
• To support site teams with all escalated reactive maintenance issues
• Support the Facilities Services Manager with the ESP Head Office, coordinate cleaning, M&E, risk assessments and other services as required. Liaise with the IT and Property Teams as necessary.
• To review all quotations within control and challenge costs with suppliers, source quotations comparison value for business.

What we are looking for:

• Some experience in the property/facilities sector.
• Knowledge of Building Construction and Fabric with the ability to propose remedial works to ensure the ongoing integrity and appearance of the buildings.
• Natural ability to engage with different teams and work collaboratively.
• IOSH qualification would be desirable
• Excellent Excel skills
• Member of Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management would be desirable
