About The Role
RAC have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and multi skilled Facilities Manager to join the fast-paced Property & Facilities Team. This full-time role can be based at any of our office locations, Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester and offers hybrid working. Note that travel to our other offices will also be required on a regular basis.
You’ll play a crucial role within the team, with focus on delivering exceptional service standards, accountable for all Facilities service contracts, change & project management and financial oversight of all department spend.
What You’ll Do…
- Manage and build relationships with suppliers and partners for both hard and soft services.
- Accountable for Property, Health and Safety, Physical Security and Environmental compliance relating to Facilities Management.
- Engage positively with business area Managers to support any requests or activity linked to Facilities management.
- Oversee all department led projects and change through to completion and successful handover to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Manage and liaise with Landlord/Property agents on all property related requirements.
What You’ll Need…
The ideal candidate would have previous experience of working in a facilities management role as well as the following;
- Demonstrable experience of managing supplier/contractor relationships.
- Project management experience for hard or/and soft services.
- Experience managing of H&S, Environmental, Physical Security compliance.
- The ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and customers (internal and external) at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Tools, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
