Engineering Facilities Manager
Barnstaple

My client is a well established manufacturer in plastic injection moulding solutions.
Over all purpose of the job:
Organise and prioritise own and staff workload referencing priority list provided by production team
Review departments workload and measure performance vs plan
Investigate maintenance problems and record/review that permanent solutions have been implemented
Review all servicing and implement preventative maintenance
Ensure all actions are compliant with latest legislation and completed correctly
Manage all sub contractors on site ensuring compliance to latest legislation
Maximisation of presses and creation of operating improvements where required
Review operations team to ensure all production targets and budgets are achieved
Ensure all documentation is completed correctly ad in a timely fashion
Drive plant improvements
Key result Areas:
Ability to work within advised production plans to ensure machine availability
Concise and accurate documentation
Cycle times improvement in evidence
To establish and maintain a safe working environment
Rapid response to machine failure
Control Budget costs
Delivering reduction in overall machine downtime
Train staff in required skills
Machine servicing developed to agreed plan
Ensure all legislative requirements are met

Salary: £40,000.00-£40,001.00 per year
