As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be the friendly face of our business – the helpful driver who delivers the unique blend of quality and outstanding service that you expect from Waitrose & Partners, right to our customers’ doors.
This is a really important ‘front line’ role that is a crucial part of our online operation, where you will be key in supporting our online growth ambitions. You will represent us with every single customer you meet, and their impression of Waitrose & Partners is down to you!

Salary: Pay range for this role starts at £12.66, and the range goes up to £13.72 per hour; this is negotiable dependent on relevant skills and experience.

Shift Pattern: Please note that due to the nature of the role, your shift can over run.
This is a fully flex full time shift for AM/PM drivers 37.5 hours a week including weekends (must be able to commit to 37.5hrs)
Full Time position: 37.5hrs
Work shift:
AM Shift Start Time between: 05:00 -07:00 Finish Time: 13:00 - 15:00
PM Shift Start Time between: 13:00 -15:00 Finish Time: 21:00 - 23:00
AM shift working 3 in 4 weekendsPM shift working 2 in 4 weekends
About the Role:
Your role will be to deliver goods to our customers in and around Central London, with exceptional customer service. You will build strong relationships with our customers, demonstrating flexibility and integrity, whilst being legally compliant in your duties.
This job may entail working with heavy products and could involve lifting.
Job Requirements:
The role of a delivery driver requires a person with a scrupulous approach to health and safety, and who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Willingness to be flexible and high standards of personal and food hygiene are required. The Delivery Driver should always aim to exceed customer expectations and be able to use initiative to deal calmly with unexpected situations. A Driver Assessment will be required for this role.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
Full UK Manual Driving Licence, with no more than 6 penalty points.
