Job description
Our O2 Building Services team are looking for two Fabric Painter and Decorators to join their team.
You’ll undertake routine and reactive painting and decorating works across The O2 site; making sure there is a suitable level of stock and that it is stored in a logical, tidy and responsible manner to allow easy retrieval.
You’ll attend to reactive ‘fabric painting biased’ tasks to ensure public safety is maintained at all time and undertake annual fabric planned preventative works in conjunction with fellow Fabric Painters and Technician/s.
Whilst supporting specialist fabric contractors during their planned and reactive works; you’ll make sure all materials are used effectively and efficiently to minimise waste and that all fabric tools are kept in a good condition.
Due to the nature of the environment, there may be significant requirement for working at height.
We’re looking for people with relevant experience in painting & decorating and who are suitably qualified and experienced in a fabric related field or equivalent operational experience in a similar ‘high profile’ environment.
With a positive with a “can do” attitude; you’ll be a team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment
You’ll have a positive and dynamic approach to the maintenance and upkeep of fabric elements of The O2, with a willingness to find new and advantageous methods of working.
Subject to your driving licence status, the role may also require site buggy / van driving when necessary.
You’ll want to raise the bar in this role and be solutions focussed; we encourage new ideas and innovation and value everyone’s opinion.
