The Peninsula London is pleased to announce we are seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant to join the team within our fine dining restaurant, reporting to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and responsible for carrying out tasks that support the delivery of high levels of service.
The restaurant is located on The Peninsula London’s rooftop, offering contemporary British cuisine. Located on the eighth floor, it comprises several spaces including the bar which has a panoramic view over Wellington Arch and Buckingham Palace Gardens.

Key Accountabilities
- Perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting and waiting on all guests
- Understand and follow the sequence of service standards.
- Understand the menus and all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation, and appropriate style of service.
- Ensure usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools, and service equipment.
- Utilize the POS system.
- Observe and maintain the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant, and public area and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.
- Flexible to work in any areas of Food and Beverage as required.
General requirements
- Good knowledge of food and beverage trends in service and culinary experience.
- Experience in a similar role in a fine dining restaurant or luxury 5* hotel.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Good communication skills, flexibility, and capability of working under pressure.

The Peninsula London, located at 1-5 Grosvenor Place in Belgravia, will overlook Hyde Park Corner, the Wellington Arch, Green Park and the gardens of Buckingham Palace. Upon completion, the hotel will have 190 guestrooms with 25 luxury Peninsula-branded residential apartments. The construction budget for the project is in the region of £800 million and our ambition is for the hotel and residences to set new standards in luxury and service in the London market.
