Job Title: Clubhouse F&B Assistant
Department: Clubhouse
Reports To: General Manager and F&B Duty Managers
Job Location: North Oxford Golf Club, clubhouse, bar and kitchen.
Hours: 40 hours per week, worked over 7 days including some evenings and weekends
Salary: Competitive
Summary
To serve alcoholic drinks and beverages at the Golf Club as well as prepare Food from the Kitchen to the Golf Clubs Members and Visitors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of food and beverage service within the times laid down by the club.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in working order and report to the General Manager or F&B Duty Manager any shortcomings in this direction.
- Open and Close the bar in line with the company protocol.
- Inform the Duty Manager of any stock requirements and report any stock deficiencies or breakages.
- Cashing up and handling money.
- Ensure Food & Beverage products are charged in line with the prices as displayed in the bar and that these are correctly entered in the till.
- Ensure professionalism is maintained at all times.
- Conform to current Health and Safety and other relevant legislation.
- To see that the correct food and beverages are supplied on request by Members and Guests.
- To see that the bar stocks are maintained and that all orders for replacement are ordered through the appropriate source in the absence of the F&B Team Leader.
- To see that all cash is handed into the club office for safekeeping and that all tills are operating correctly.
- To see that records for wastage and stock control are maintained.
- To make sure the bar and serving areas are kept in a clean condition.
- To see that all glasses and other receptacles are collected and cleaned and to clean beer trays and optics as directed by your line manager.
- To see that the bar is restocked before finishing your working session

- Ability to come to work regularly on time, follow direction and work as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to take responsibility and work on your own when required.
- Ability to deal with problems involving variables in different situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £17,500.00-£20,000.00 per year

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
