EYFS Lead and Assistant Head
St Mary’s Catholic Infant School are looking for someone to use their wonderful knowledge and experience of Early Years to help lead the school as a bright and confident Assistant Head Teacher and practitioner. You will plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons, help lead the school in the Early Years, manage teachers and support staff focus on whole school improvement and liaise with the Head of School and the CEO to continue to drive standards. The key to this is someone who confident and has a passion to raise standards in the education of young children.
We are a two-form entry Infant School with a nursery in the heart of Croydon, just a short walk away from mainline train stations, trams and buses. We are looking for a dedicated EYFS Leader and Assistant Head to join our amazing school family. We have a successful and driven leadership team who are passionate about teaching and achieving the best for every child.
The school has had an Ofsted in October 2022 and was graded ‘good’ with ‘outstanding’ for Behaviour and Personal Development. We aim to provide a rich curriculum and daily memorable experiences, based on first hand resources and innovative planning for all pupils. Through our sequenced lessons, we aim for all our pupils to develop knowledge and skills for life, which is very exciting! We are privileged to work closely with parents and our Governing Body ensuring every day is a unique learning experience for every child. We are a strong close team who support one another and our pupils daily. We are looking for a practitioner who is enthusiastic and passionate about inclusive practice throughout the infants' stage

Personal Specification:
- Experienced primary teacher with a passion for Early Years.
- A practicing Catholic or someone who is willing to follow the Catholic life of the school.
- Ambitious teacher looking for the next step in their career.
- Able to lead a team and confident in your abilities.
- Must hold UK QTS
- Graded at least good in recent observations.
