Production Operative
Cherry Pipes Ltd are seeking production operative to work within our Lurgan factory. Employee will work as part of a team and will be responsible for the safe running of extrusion processing machines manufacturing large dia pipe. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Operatives to progress their career within this exciting and rewarding company. Previous factory experience is useful but equally important is your enthusiasm and ability to contribute to the team. PPE provided, excellent salary and pay graded accordingly to ability. Shift work, operatives required for following shift patterns.
weekday shifts Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm 48 hours per week,
Start hourly rate £11.00- £14.00 p/hr pending experience
Requirements
Good attention to detail

A excellent standard of written and oral English
Proven ability to work well within an established team
Flexible approach to busy workload
At all times work in a manner that ensures the safety of you and all others in the work area
At all times use the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the tasks you are carrying out
Ensure that the product you are producing complies fully with the specification sheet.
Complete initial quality and production check on your line and complete the necessary paperwork
Ensure your machine area is clean and tidy all shift, especially on hand over. - Fill in all relevant paperwork correctly and completely, this includes quality controls
Report any breakdowns to your managment
Assist with grinding scrap product and rework as directed by your Supervisor when required
Start and stop lines safely, completing all required checks
Full training will be provided for employees to progress in the pay grade structure
