Customer Service Specialist - Merchant OneWhat does a successful Customer Service Specialist do at Merchant One from Fiserv?
With a 20-year track record providing full-service credit card processing using the best technology available, Merchant One from Fiserv stands out as a top tier provider in multiple industries. Positioning ease of use and compliance as top-priorities, Merchant One provides quick and painless payment solutions to retailers, restaurants and to other businesses in the hospitality, B2B and eCommerce verticals. As we continue to grow in 2023, expansion of our product support and customer service teams will be key to our continued success.
Merchant One Customer Service Specialists engage daily with our clients, resolving product and service issues while staying focused on creating long lasting relationships with these business owners. Our specialists are patient and professional in their approach, working primarily over the phone and via email and upsell and cross sell accounts on value added services when able.
What you will do:
- Display excellent communication skills – on the phone, via email and on additional platforms.
- Perform effective demos to prospects with an eye towards upsell opportunities.
- Multi-task while managing a high volume of incoming calls, cases, and chat-based inquiries.
- Exhibit strong computer skills, accurately manipulating databases and updating customer information.
- Act as a team player when needed – stepping up to support others and the broader mission of the Customer Service function at Merchant One
- Act creatively and be engaging in your approach to solving issues for clients.
- Work onsite in our Miami Beach or Coral Springs office – this is not a remote support role.
What you will need to have:
- High School graduate/GED
What would be great to have:
- Prior call center environment-based customer/technical support background
- Specific payments related product familiarity from a competitor or work setting.
