Morgan and Bond Limited is a well established company based in the Midlands with over 150 employees and numerous office locations, the company has built up a large portfolio of clients and contracts in the social housing and responsive maintenance sectors. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team, working in the Planned Construction Works Division focusing on roofing and refurbishment.
Main Purpose
To plan and execute projects, safely and in the most cost-efficient process, ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Plan each project process, produce a critical path and fully understand the timing of each stage.
Ensure that the projects are completed on time to avoid penalties.
Resource Allocation – ensuring materials are ordered correctly and in time for works.
Employee and Subcontractor Management - allocating tasks to relevant site managers /operatives / subcontractors.
Set Benchmarks to monitor progress, maintaining the programme of works to ensure the projects are on target to finish on time and within budget.
Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements.
Key Skills Required
You will need to be a proven Project Manager with experience of construction projects / refurbishment projects, roofing will be a key element.
Planning and Time Management – able to ensure that jobs are completed within set time frames.
Excellent communication and Customer Service skills– attending meetings, ensuring that all senior management are aware of the projects' progress.
Delegation and Motivation – be responsible for ensuring that tasks are delegated effectively. Motivate staff in a positive manner to build relationships, trust and a positive outlook.
Be able to solve problems with your existing construction knowledge.
Budgetary accountabilities - responsible for up to approx £2m budget (depending on projects) per annum, comprising of simultaneous projects. (located in the same area)

Salary: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
