Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a professional shipping organisation in the Tipton area who are seeking an Export Documentation Administrator to start immediately.
The role is fully office based and IS NOT a remote or hybrid role
Shipping experience and experience of "bills of lading" is essential.
Duties and tasks will include:
- Raising bill of lading instructions from shipper’s invoice or shipping instructions and sending to relevant supplier from either our company Box Top system or ocean carriers online portals/websites
- Checking bill of lading is OK prior to sending to client for approval
- Amendments to documents where required
- Entering VGM via CNS or Destin8 on line portals
- Approval of bills of lading and arranging post to customers
- Raising UK customs entry via online portal ASM Sequoia – IF NO EXPERIENCE TRAINING CAN BE PROVIDED
- Completing certificates of origin / ATR / EUR1 via Ecert when required
- Working to customs and bill of lading deadlines set by ocean carriers

- Be able to use own initiative to solve day to day challenges
- Being able to think on your feet and work to deadlines
- Have pride in the work they produce
- Knowledge of word and excel
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm. Parking is available.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
