Job description
We are looking for an experienced B2B sales executive to join the team. You will be working with our Head of Sales and Business Development Consultant to deliver an annual exhibition for the Utilities Sector.
This is a new role to expand our sales bandwidth within the sales team. The successful candidate will initially have responsibility for selling exhibition stand space and lower value sponsorship packages into Utility Week Live with a view to progressing onto higher value SPEX and big-ticket sales and taking on a multi-platform sales approach across the portfolio.
- Full time: 35 hours Monday to Friday
- Office: East Grinstead – walking distance to the station, onsite parking

Person specification
- They will be a self-starter with a thirst for new business who enjoys getting fully immersed in their market to drive the growth of Utility Week Live.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years B2B sales experience, a proven track record of new business development in a B2B environment and a sound understanding of sales processes.
- There is no requirement for specific degrees or higher education qualifications, however candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibition or conference experience would be desirable however candidates from other B2B sales backgrounds, such as media sales, will be considered.
