Executive Team Assistant – Ronald McDonald House Charities UK
As a national Charity, we build and operate Houses that provide free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families who have a sick child in hospital. Our 14 Houses across the UK give families a warm and comfortable place to rest, eat and relax, just moments away from their child’s hospital ward. We are passionate about our support, and it is invaluable to families at a critical time in their lives.
Since 1989, we have supported over 60,000 families from all walks of life, living in the UK or coming from abroad for specialist care. For those families, staying close to their child in hospital receiving care is the number one priority.
The opportunity:
We are looking for an organised and driven individual to assist the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Senior Leadership team with their diary management, schedule and administrative tasks. The role will have hybrid working but you will be required to attend the East Finchley London office weekly and travel to Ronald McDonald Houses across the UK where necessary.
What will my accountabilities be?
· Planning, organisation and preparation of meetings
· Be the first point-of-contact for the CEO
· Organise travel and accommodation
· Assist in preparation of reports
· Minute taking
· General administrative support to the SLT
· Occasional project work
What background would be desirable?
Candidates from all backgrounds and experiences will be considered but it would be beneficial to have experience within a similar role. Other attributes that would be beneficial are
· Skilled at diary management
· Experience at prioritisation of tasks
· Strong administrative skills
· A good communicator
· Knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality as you would be handling sensitive information
· Organised and structured
· Demonstrates a genuine desire to learn
