Digital Marketing Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to: Head of Content
Working within our dynamic and knowledgeable team of digital marketing and content specialists, you will undertake a wide range of in-house marketing and external PR activities, both online and off-line. You will continue to build on our thriving global presence within the yachting industry, and develop relationships with relevant media outlets and agencies to expand our visibility. You will create and promote content for our own brand as well as our clients.
This role requires a positive, can-do attitude and a desire to make an impact on the continued growth of Yachting Pages during our 20th year.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- At least one year’s experience in PR or similar role
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Excellent research and writing skills with a portfolio of written work
- Sound understanding of PR core principles (particularly digitally)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use SEO best practices (including keyword optimisation) to write content and digital adverts for clients on the Yachting Pages website
- Identify areas for improvement within digital adverts to support client performance
- Work closely with the Web team to create new pages and improve existing pages to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic/conversions
- Work closely with the Web team to generate new ideas and strategies to enhance adverts/content with the aim of increasing online sales
- Complete website administration tasks where necessary each day
- Get involved in the team’s wider, in-house digital marketing activities including email campaigns, social media, etc.
- Build relationships with media outlets and organisations for PR publication and digital link-building purposes and to chase coverage
- Write engaging, captivating press releases and other copy for pick-up
- Track PR campaigns and produce reports
- Liaise with existing PR clients
Office/hybrid – WFH arrangements can be arranged with your manager following initial onboarding.
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday (8:00-16:30)
Hardworking members of the team get an opportunity to travel. So be prepared to bring your own sunscreen and sunglasses for Boat Shows in France, Monaco, or Palma!
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
