Job description
We are seeking a Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing cyber security team. Reporting to the Cyber Security Specialist, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organisation's information assets by proactively identifying and responding to security threats. The role will involve working with various stakeholders across the organisation to assess security risks, evaluate security controls, and implement security best practices using Microsoft Security Tools.
What you'll do:
- Proactive and reactive problem solving of cyber related events
- Vulnerability management
- Threat hunting
- Cyber Incident Response
- Advising staff on various security concerns
- Building positive and effective relationship with our third parties
- Maintenance of various security tools including web filtering, email security, Microsoft Defender and vulnerability management tools
What we're looking for:
This role will suit you if you enjoy a varied workload covering technology from many different areas. You will enjoy working things out for themselves and exploring new solutions and technology that improves efficiencies and productivity.
You don't need to have a specific technical specialism but must enjoy learning new things, accepting challenges, and working hard to create a great outcome.
