Job description
Anthem Video is an award-winning video production + marketing agency located in Pittsburgh, PA! We're a group of creative, energetic, versatile, and creative video professionals, working with a variety of clients (from local non-profits to Fortune 500s).
Anthem Video is looking for an organized, resourceful, and creative video editor to join the team as our Lead Editor. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing the successful execution of projects in post-production, which includes:
- Managing in-house and contract editors
- Being a creative + technical resource for other editors on the team
- Working with project manager to ensure projects stay on track with timelines and that workload is properly distributed
- Helping project manager maintain our project management software ClickUp with the correct post-production information and identifying + solving any upcoming issues.
- Able to problem solve and work with editors on any issues that occur.
- Collaborating with other team members in pre-production + production to ensure project continuity and that post-production considerations are being met.
- Leading project kick-offs into post-production by communicating all necessary information from pre-production and production to the editors.
Other Responsibilities include:
- Edit videos as part of the post-production team
- Providing time/cost estimates for project bids
- Taking point on any last-minute or short turnaround editing projects
- Working with executive producer to oversee media management - proper project offload + archive, and being aware of storage space.
- Occasionally taking on producer type role for larger projects
- Working closely with creative resources on specific projects (writers, creative leads, animators, etc)
- Collaborating with project manager to ensure all project hours are logged.
In order to be considered, applicants MUST:
- Have experience in a wide variety of editing styles, from commercials, longer form documentary content, short sizzle videos, corporate videos, and motion graphics videos.
- Be able to show portfolio videos that demonstrate these styles (Vimeo links, YouTube links, or a website portfolio)
- Be organized.
- Be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Davinci Resolve
- Be comfortable leading post-production to ensure quality of edits, while staying within client expectations, timeline, and budget
- Have a can-do attitude - we're a small team, and we all wear many different hats. Being flexible and able to jump from editing tasks to assisting the editors + management team is something we're looking for.

Experience:
- Adobe Premiere: 3 years (Preferred)
