About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, dedicated Personal Assistant to support two Finance Executives and provide administrative support to the wider Finance community in Ipswich. We're looking for a highly organised influencer who can confidently manage correspondence as well as provide effective diary management and organisation of business travel. To succeed in this role, you'll need to be flexible and able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.

For this role, you'll spend an average of 2 days a week in our Ipswich office and be flexible to occasional travel to London or Tunbridge Wells offices.
What you'll be doing:
- Effective diary management in a manner that is underpinned by robust forward planning and proactive issue resolution.
- Manage correspondence (e.g. Emails, post, telephone) in a timely manner, prioritising cascading/escalating as appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring written and verbal communications are designed to deliver results.
- Escalate, delegate and resolve functional business issues with clear instructions and deadlines.
- Build effective relationships with other PAs, UK/ global AXA teams and external parties, influencing stakeholders at all levels whilst confidently navigating a complex organisation.
- Support the management of the function expenses and budgets, including processing accruals and liaising with Finance.
- Plan and support the running of team events, including Senior Leadership Team off-sites, all function away days and volunteer days.

About you
- Extensive experience of similar roles providing PA support in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert knowledge of admin software, including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a wider PA community.
- Influencing and relationship building skills, respectful of confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability and ability to multi-task.
- Experience in the financial services/ insurance industry desired.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
