Director Project Executive – EMEA

Seeking an EMEA Project Executive to join our Global Project Delivery team on a global account. This candidate, reporting to the JLL Global Project Delivery Lead, should possess strong cross-functional leadership skills to drive the completion of projects, including project evaluation, project design, leadership alignment, and executive oversight. The candidate will work directly with the client’s internal real estate organization and business units to oversee the entire life cycle of the construction project. This position requires a self-starter who has experience managing large scale construction projects, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with the documented process, procedures, and client requirements.

Essential Functions:
Work closely with client the Business Relationship Managers (BRM) to identify scope and estimate project costs and schedules in preparation for pre-funding approvals.
Further refine the project scope, cost, and schedule with the BRM and the Project Execution team.
Coordination and completion of the summary project business case including scope, cost estimates, preliminary schedules, key stakeholder identification, project risks, and forecasted cashflow.
Manage project planning responsibilities with client resources regarding vendor identification, procurement, client technology, and client security.
Work with the client and vendors to identify value engineering and other costs savings opportunities.
Ensure the Project Execution team are appropriately managing the project through schematic design prior to capital plan approval.
Support the BRM in the development of the documentation and presentations for project capital plan approval.
Ensure JLL’s EMEA Project Execution team are submitting proposals, with appropriate resources to support the project execution, in compliance with the process and the account’s master service agreement.
Accountability for project oversight to include, material scope changes, budget/schedule adherence and changes, and the escalation of issues by acting as an intermediary between the Project Execution teams and the BRM/Business Unit organizations.
Ensure the JLL EMEA Project Execution teams are following all process, procedures, and protocols in the execution of the project.
Ensure all project management information, within the designate project management system, is timely and accurate to support month-end reporting.
Continuous training of JLL’s EMEA Project Development team on updated proposal requirements, process changes, reporting, and project management system utilization.
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
5-7 + years of experience in program or project management.
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Proficient in MS PPT, MS Word, and Excel. Experience with other Project tools is a plus.
Must have prior experience in an external customer/client facing environment
Team-oriented, very responsible, self-motivated, and focused on exceeding client expectations
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong strategic analytical skills with an ability to carry through with delivering on implementation of the strategies.
Ability to communicate effectively to all relevant stakeholders: from new client prospects, existing clients, internal managed staff to the internal Executive team and major shareholders.
Ability to provide accurate analysis and assessment, while maintaining a sense of urgency to meet the needs of business changes.
Demonstrate problem-solving quantitative and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment.
Experience conducting business assessments & analysis, and interpreting the results into custom multifaceted enterprise solutions
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
Knowledge and ability to understand and negotiate complex risk.
Ability to work across departments internally to solve any client issues that arise.
Working Environment:
Position may include domestic and international travel
Remote position with work in office setting upon request
Minimum Required Education:
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Construction Management, Architecture, or Business Administration/Accounting.
Experience: 5+ years of construction and/or facilities management
