Executive Assistant to CEO/Office Manager

As the Executive Assistant to the CEO at thisislanguage.comyou'll be working across almost all aspects of our language learning EdTech business, so you can expect varied, dynamic work. We will provide training and support where needed to help you develop in the role.
Working 3 days a week (with at least one day a week at our Oxford office) you’ll have a hand in everything from Recruitment to Finance, Business Planning to Cookie Tasting as well as being the CEO’s Executive Assistant. This role requires initiative and confidence so we’re looking for a “do-er”!
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Executive Assistant: Helping the CEO with all aspects of the business, from planning trips abroad to helping prepare for Board Meetings.
- Office Manager: Helping maintain a functioning, friendly office environment.
- Basic bookkeeping
- Events: Organising team events, including away-days, parties, and all-hands meetings.

Salary: £28K per annum pro-rated
Where: 1 day a week in the office. The rest remote. (Unless you wanted to be here because it’s a lovely office.)
