A bit about the role...
Working in the Investments Directorate supporting Senior Leaders at Directorate level, the Executive Assistant will play a critical role in supporting senior leaders to be effective in their role. You will be joining our enthusiastic and experienced team of Executive Assistants, who are committed to providing high-quality service to their assigned Directors. You could be supporting up to 3 Directors in the Investment team so this role is critical.

We believe in working in a collaborative way, valuing diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving within their team.
There are some exciting projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the Investment offering.
A bit about you…
Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. You will demonstrate an ability to handle multiple priorities and apply excellent attention to detailed in the work you do.
You'll be comfortable supporting your assigned Directors with complex issues, anticipating their needs, and showing initiative in problem solving. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in the work that you do.
Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable supporting stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun, and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
As an experienced Executive Assistant you’ll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
Your skills and experience should cover key Executive Assistant activities such as, organising diaries, managing inboxes, minute-taking, travel booking. You should be great at building your network, collaboration and teamwork and the ability to spot great opportunities for your assigned Directors.
We are looking for someone who has the following key skills and knowledge:
1. Excellent organisation skills with ability to anticipate and show initiative.
2. Resilience to adapt to ever changing priorities and demands, demonstrating knowledge and professionalism to support leaders to achieve outcomes
3. Excellent administration skills, ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing with good attention to detail
4. Ability to work at pace and with multiple priorities
5. Effective time management skills
6. Stakeholder management skills with demonstrable initiative, proactivity and engagement with business
7. Political sensitivity, and the ability to exercise appropriate discretion, tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and judgement on issues of significance and importance, particularly when dealing with officials at the highest level
8. Ability to build rapport and trust with senior leaders
9. Advanced digital skills, with knowledge and experience of a range of software applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ability to produce high quality documents and presentations
