We are looking for an Insight Analyst to join our Digital Performance team. They will be responsible for analysing various business questions relating to ecommerce performance and customer behaviour. Starting by defining problem statements and hypotheses, they will then apply analysis to the right data to find answers and recommendations to the questions.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Understand business contexts and requirements and then translate them into an analytics solution
- Identify patterns and trends relating to customer behaviour and user experience online
- Use quantitative analysis tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to analyse and understand visitor traffic sources, user behaviour and conversion drivers
- Use qualitative analysis tools such as Content Square or Decibel to analyse and understand customer behaviour online
- Drive decision making towards better customer experiences and business growth by communicating insights and recommendations in an impactful manner that suits the audience
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Inquisitive, curious and critical thinker who can analyse and communicate quantitative and qualitative data as meaningful, goal-focused actionable insights
- Highly numerate, ideally with knowledge of statistics and hypothesis testing methods
- Experience modelling multiple data sources to analyse complex problems in Excel or languages such as Python, R, SQL.
- Ability to identify cause and effect and deliver insightful, practical solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and influential communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts to communicate to non-experts, and work with and learn from team members.
- A continuous learner who adopts new technologies and ideas to innovate, solve problems, and better perform.
- Excellent attention to detail, both in analysis and in communication.
Desirable
- Experienced analysing customer journeys on digital applications such as websites and mobile apps
- Experience with A/Bn testing tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely
- Experience with customer experience analytics tools such as Contentsquare, Decibel, Hotjar
- Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio.
