Executive Assistant - Industrials
London
As a Barclays Executive Assistant - Industrials, you will provide full secretarial and administrative support for two to three senior bankers plus wider members of the Industrials Team. The team requires an experienced assistance who can juggle workload and enjoys being busy in a varied role. What will help you in this role are excellent organisational skills, motivation/drive, ability to exercise personal initiative and confidently interact with a diverse spectrum of people internally and externally.

- Managing complex and detailed calendars and screening incoming calls
- Arranging and coordinating complex travel, including ensuring all business and compliance related approvals are in place
- Liaising confidently, professionally and in a friendly manner with colleagues at all levels of the organisation as well as clients and other external stakeholders
- Building networks and relationships and acting as ambassador for the Banking EME platform as well as the Sustainable and Impact Banking team
- Responding to/resolving a wide range of queries, channeling to the appropriate area and escalating where appropriate
- Ensuring all Compliance approvals met for any bankers Cross Border travel and all client entertainment
- Guaranteeing that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements
- Able to plan and prioritise own workload, effective time management skills and accustomed to working to tight deadlines under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite of products
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Deals with confidential and private information with integrity and sensitivity and demonstrates tact and good judgement in confidential situations
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Financial institution experience preferred
- Relevant EA experience supporting at Managing Director level
