Job description
Job Purpose:
As an Executive Assistant, based in our London office, you will form part of a dynamic team of professionals that focus on developing our specialty insurance portfolio. You will mainly report to Head of International Financial Lines but will also assist our London Office based Underwriting Director on an ad hoc basis.
We are looking for candidates who are conscientious, consistently accurate and detail orientated in their work. The role requires you to work both autonomously and with an approachable and friendly wider team.
If you are self-motivated there is huge scope and support to develop the role and get involved in non-BAU tasks.
Hybrid working:
- 3 days in the office and 2 working from home (however some weeks 4 days in the office will be required)
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out standard administrative tasks such as:
- Arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, arrange lunches and dinners, extensive diary management, etc.
- Coordinate business trips (flights, accommodation, transfers etc.)
- Prepare and submit expense reports
Carry out advanced EA support tasks such as:
- Running and preparing statistical reports, extracting financial data, handling information requests, etc.
- Preparing presentations
- Manage and/or follow up on multiple projects/actions simultaneously, meeting deadlines
- Conduct research
- Project manage corporate events
- Manage department invoicing
- Pick up ad-hoc projects and tasks and run with them
- Maintain electronic filing systems

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position and/or project coordination
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
