Job description
The AJ Group was founded by Sam Ashdown and Phil Jones in 2017. We’re an aggressively ambitious company, with big plans to scale over the next few years. We're a bit different from most companies - innovative and energetic with more than a touch of disruptive rebelliousness.
To reach our ridiculously big goals, we need a very special wing-person, who is obsessively organised, with great attention to detail and high standards. Particularly when it comes to the systems and procedures and first impressions of both our team and our offices.
If you are:
- an energetic and positive person
- a ninja listener
- a challenge seeker
- a fully paid-up member of the grammar police
- superb at multi-tasking
- you'll do ANYTHING to ensure our amazing team have the support and help they need...
then we need you!
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be responsible for the supporting the Leadership Team, to help them in their pursuit of the Company’s goals.
Every day will be different but will include helping us organise events and travel, liaise with and pay key suppliers, help with diary management, guide and drive important projects and anything else that’s needed in this dynamic environment.
World-class training is provided and no experience in the industry is required.
Ideally you’ll have:
- a keen eye for detail
- embarrassingly good organisational skills
- a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise
- a confident and, where necessary, assertive approach to getting things done
- the ability to act as cool as a cucumber in a crisis
- passion and enthusiasm about team wins and happiness
- a love for a completed to-do list
- a muck-in, can-do, get-it-done mentality
What you’ll get from the role:
- an opportunity to be part of an innovative and exciting new market disruptor
- the ability to shape the future direction of The AJ Group
- be at the cutting edge of the business, giving you the best view of how the businesses operate
- a role that’s varied and challenging; no day is the same
- the satisfaction of providing the best
- an opportunity to develop your management and project management skills.
In return for everything you can bring, we can offer you an exciting, challenging role in a fast-growing and dynamic business, with potential career opportunities throughout the UK as we expand.
If you think you’ve got everything we’re looking for (and then some) we’d love to hear from you.
If this ad excited you and sounds like a role that would match your skill set, we'd love to hear from you - send over a short email with a little bit of info about you and we'll arrange a time to jump on the phone.
