The Executive Assistant Role and Responsibilities
Working in Glasgow, the Executive Assistant will be a crucial member of the Guild Capital senior team, leading a global administrative support team and supporting 3-5 executives as Guild’s primary executive assistant. The Executive Assistant will provide a broad range of administrative and logistical support to Guild's executives by liaising with portfolio companies, investors, and other third-party stakeholders.
The Executive Assistant will shape the operating rhythm of a complex, global calendar with many client and firm commitments by providing broad, proactive administrative support (e.g., heavy international scheduling with clients and firm colleagues, arranging complex international and local travel, visa applications, file organization, expense report submission, accounting administration), executing projects, organizing conferences, and planning off-site meetings. Daily responsibilities include managing calendars, coordinating meetings, booking travel, and prioritizing across multiple leaders. The Executive Assistant will effectively prioritize, manage, and delegate several parallel workstreams and solve complex problems.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a corporate environment working with senior-level executives
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and team skills
- Self-starter with an approachable “can-do” mindset and a positive attitude; proactively identifies conflicts and develops solutions
- Calm, professional, self-confident demeanor
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, able to solve complex problems independently under uncertainty
- Comfort with changing priorities
- Solid knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft applications
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Capacity to work overtime as needed in this global support role
- Excited to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to travel occasionally to London
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
