At Canon EMEA we are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide vital support to a member of the EMEA Executive Leadership Team.

You will be part of an energetic and innovative environment at our EMEA HQ at Stockley Park, working with various stakeholders in a range of complex tasks.

This role is offering a salary between £31,247 - £36,749pa depending on experience, along with a 10% bonus and a range of additional benefits such as:

Your role as an Executive Assistant at Canon will expose you to a variety of activities including:

  • Manage and provide a high level of EA duties to the executives as required. Including the production of reports, presentations, diary, and email management, organising meetings etc.

  • Taking initiative in prioritising and managing Executive’s workload to meet specific deadlines.

  • To use autonomous judgment and initiative, with the ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs of the executive. Responding to complex demands with the ability to think independently and respond proactively.

  • To build close working relationships with key stakeholders, linking with them in a wide range of sensitive and complex cases on behalf of the executive. Organising and facilitating meetings, taking minutes where necessary.

  • To play a key role in internal and external communication, developing effective networks with individuals and other organisations, regarding the work of the executive.

  • Dealing with enquiries, queries, or complaints on behalf of the Executive, ensuring all are handled in a professional and effective manner.

What we ask

Previous experience in a similar role is vital, and therefore we are looking for you to demonstate:

  • A strong background working in an EA/PA role for senior leaders, dealing appropriately with issues of an important nature.

  • Significant Knowledge and experience using applications such as excel and other O365 tools.

  • Working within a busy corporate environment, preferably across multiple countries.

The successful candidate will be:
  • Organised and accurate with the ability to exercise initiative throughout.

  • A strong communicator with a high degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people.

  • Able to work well under pressure and maintain a flexible approach to changing department demands.

  • Able to use discretion and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Analytical with key eye and attention to detail.

  • Pan-European cultural sensitivity.

  • Resourceful and innovative to support executive.

  • Able to manage a varied and complex workload, using independence and initiative throughout.
