Executive Assistant

As Barclays, Executive Assistant, you will be a part of Global Markets Chief of Staff Office that assist the Co-Heads of Global Markets by devising, implementing, and running management and administration processes. In your role, you will be providing full secretarial and administrative support to the Global Co-Head of Markets and be responsible for day to day running of the office. This role will require an experienced assistance who can juggle workload and enjoys being busy in a varied role.

- Leading and managing complex and detailed calendars
- Screening incoming calls
- Arranging and coordinating complex travel, including ensuring all business and compliance related approvals are in place
- Assisting the team with tasks as required and helping new joiners settle in
- Working with other assistants, in a positive partnership to help each other
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as Executive Assistant supporting Directors, ideally Managing Directors
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft office suite of products
- Able to deal with people competently and confidently at all levels and builds solid relationships with colleagues across the bank
- Financial Institution experience is preferred
- Interest in Global Markets and appetite to understand/learn about the business which will assist in forming judgement and taking decisions in the course of the role
