Avaliable Job Today James Ray Recruitment are looking to employee a team of Exam invigilators to work within schools in the Scarborough area. If you are looking for a flexible role working across a range of hours and days, We would love to speak to you. You will be supporting during exam seasons coming up in May 2023. We offer full training and support prior to completing the placement. The pay rate for this role will be £12 per hour and during exam season you have potential of earning £1000 per month.
What does the role involve?
An exam invigilator is responsible for ensuring that exams are conducted in an appropriate manner within the correct time frame. The main part of their role is to supervise the students and make sure that exam regulations are being always met. Some of the key things expected of an exam invigilator are:
· Monitoring students to ensure that there is no malpractice during the exam.
· Distributing stationery and exam papers to the students.
· Ensuring that exam conditions are always adhered to.
· Preparing the exam hall and other exam rooms to ensure that it meets requirements.
· Providing support where necessary should an emergency arise e.g. sick student, fire evacuation.
· Answering any queries that a student may have about the exam.
What is the ideal candidate?
· Experience covering exams or working within a school setting (Not essential)
· Hold a current DBS which is registered to the update service or ability to purchase one.
· Have a right to work in the UK
