This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning Higher Education Student Recruitment and Marketing team within a dynamic, specialist arts university in the post of Events Officer.
Reporting to the Senior Events Officer, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of key University events, both on and off line, designed to recruit students and raise AUB’s profile. This will include AUB’s Graduation ceremonies, UCAS/HE Recruitment Fairs, Open Days and Offer Holder Days. This role will represent AUB’s creative community, ensuring events are of the highest standard reflecting the artistic nature of the institution and its students.
Recruitment, selection and training of the Student Ambassador Programme is also a key element of the role. You will be required to support on this programme, overseen by the Senior Events Officer.
Educated to degree level, you will be an experienced and motivated events professional with a proven track record in devising, planning and running engaging, successful and high profile, large scale events, ideally within the education sector. You will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as strong project management skills.
A keen interest in the creative industries and a full UK/EU driving licence are essential.
