Events & Marketing Coordinator
The Kitchen Garden Café is a unique venue. Hosting weddings, parties, music, comedy plus a incorporating a garden and art shop it offers a very unusual and beautiful space to hold events.
· You will be well-organised with excellent attention to detail
· You are passionate about making people happy and enjoy helping them create their own special event
· You will have excellent admin & IT skills
· You will have good hospitality experience
· You are able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
You will be working with the Functions/Events team which is responsible for all events held at Kitchen Garden and in Fletchers. This includes private parties, weddings, funerals, corporate bookings and any special events. You will also help create and implement future events throughout the year
You will help ensure all the events are delivered to a high-quality spec matching the customers expectations. The role will include pre-planning the event and running it on the day, therefore executing the event from start to finish. Duties will include ensuring all spreadsheets are accurately completed to time, liaising with client, booking entertainment and working closely with the Head Chef to ensure all food served is of high quality.
You could also have the opportunity to work in our café and bar for extra hours to make the post up to full-time.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20/30 per week
Salary: £9.50 - £11.50 per hour depending on experience.
