The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Events Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of all our digital and physical events. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our events, from conception to post-event analysis. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating engaging events that are successful in achieving business goals. You will relish taking on our flagship event, Ravcon held each March in London as well as our ongoing global webinars, roundtable events, and attendance at industry trade shows globally.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with Ravelin's business goals and objectives.
- Plan and execute high-quality digital and physical events, including but not limited to webinars, workshops, conferences, product launches, and customer events.
- Manage event logistics, including vendor management, budget management, venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation.
- Work with Content and other teams in the business to develop speaking submissions, decks, and talk tracks for all events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer success, and product, to ensure events are aligned with company objectives.
- Create compelling event content that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement.
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and critical paths.
- Work with the marketing team to promote events through email campaigns, social media, and other digital marketing channels.
- Manage post-event follow-up activities, including lead capture, lead nurturing, and ROI analysis.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of events through post-event feedback and analysis.
Requirements
- Experience in event planning and management.
- Experience managing both digital and physical events.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinker with a passion for developing engaging event experiences.
- Experience with event marketing and promotion.
- Proven track record of successful event planning and execution.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of event management software, such as Cvent or Eventbrite, is a plus.
