Event Coordinator 12 months Fixed Term Contract

As a Barclays Event Coordinator, you will work across all Barclays businesses to deliver a wide spectrum of Event types, from small high-end dinners for our UHNW clients to larger scale conferences. You will work on end-to-end project management on solo projects and in project teams with colleagues both within the EME team and with those in the global events teams in APAC and the US.

- Managing, developing and executing an incredibly diverse range of events to the highest standard
- Preparing and managing event budgets and end-to-end finance process
- Managing event timelines, project plans and procurement activities
- Delegating management including invitation production, joining instructions and on-site management
- Liaising and regularly communicating with internal hosts to proactively recommend event activity and review event requirements
- Building and maintaining solid and effective relationships with our preferred suppliers
- Professional experience running end to end events; including budget, stakeholder and logistics management alongside industry knowledge and experience
- Professional experience of producing Virtual events using virtual platforms e.g. TalkPoint, Open Exchange or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft skills (Ppt, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams)
- Aptitude and ability to navigate using different Event technology systems (OneEvent; BTS; Concur; Coupa; Stova)
- Proven skills and experience in negotiation and project management
- Ability to solve problems, take ownership, multi-task and meet deadlines
- London, UK and Europe Events Industry knowledge
