Events Coordinator Liverpool, England

Charity Horizons
Full Time Liverpool, England 26000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

“There’s no doubt the North West Air Ambulance Charity saved my life. Without the care they provided so quickly at the scene, before airlifting me to the Royal Preston Hospital, it’s unlikely I would have survived.”

Do you want to form part of the passionate and talented team that raise funds to keep this life saving service running? We would love to hear from you! This hugely reputable and remarkable charity provides the enhanced pre-hospital care needed to make a lifesaving difference and quite simply brings the hospital to the patient, regardless of their location across the North West!

The Role

We are looking for an Events Coordinator to help the charity deliver its ambitious plans and to provide excellent stewardship to North West Air Ambulance (NWAA) participants in events across the region. Duties will include:

  • Delivering the charity’s events portfolio, achieving agreed income targets and KPIs
  • Developing effective stewardship and enrolment processes to facilitate excellent supporter experiences and maximise fundraising potential
  • Working with the Marketing and Communications team to produce effective marketing and advertising materials in order to achieve participation and income targets
  • Developing long-term support through regular inspiring communications using a variety of channels.

The Person

If you’re a people orientated, passionate person with good communication and relationship building skills then we would love to hear from you! To be considered for this role you should have experience working towards targets and KPIs, an understanding of stewardship and a willingness to engage with supporters and encourage their long term support of the charity. While charity experience would be advantageous, we are also keen to speak with people looking to transfer their skillset into this incredibly rewarding area of fundraising and events coordination. The team at NWAA is full of passionate people wanting to save lives across the North West so you should be enthusiastic about the work of the charity and excited by the future of growth that lies ahead!

Why NWAA?

NWAA is a hugely reputable and widely recognised charity brand within the North West. Not only does the charity impact the region so positively, but it is also an incredibly supportive, collaborative and fun team to be a part of. This role offers the opportunity to build a career within the charity and there will be huge scope to learn and grow in this role. On top of this, the charity’s benefits include:

  • Cycle to work Scheme
  • Life Assurance
  • Cash Back Scheme which includes cash back for dental treatment and a range of medical treatments as well as staff discounts with a range of retailers
  • 24 hour confidential Employee Assistance helpline
  • Salary Sacrifice Scheme for pension contributions
  • On-site parking
  • Sick pay
  • Holiday buy back scheme

If this sounds like the type of environment that would suit you for the next phase of your career, then get in touch! The role is permanent and full-time (although flexible working patterns also considered), and offers the opportunity to work flexibly from the charity's HQ in Knowsley, across the region, and from home.
