Providing invaluable support to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll help ensure the Aldi personality is always unique, powerful and consistent in the marketplace.

We now have a fantastic opportunity available for a Consumer Communications professional to join our creative PR/Communications team at Aldi on a 24-month Fixed Term Contract
The individual will manage the press office for the following categories - Baby & Toddler, Health & Beauty, Specialbuys and Pet & Household, in conjunction with our PR agencies.
Working collaboratively with every department across the business and as well as with external PR agencies, you will be responsible for effectively communicating exciting business news and products to our customers.

Your New Role:
- Managing a busy consumer press office with our agency partner for Aldi’s Baby & Toddler, Health & Beauty, Pet & Household and Specialbuy categories
- Working collaboratively with the wider consumer communications team that handles Food, BWS and Brand Campaigns
- Proactively managing an influencer programme for the relevant categories
- Liaising and building strong relationships with key stakeholders of all levels across the business, including our Social Media, Marketing and Buying Teams
- Liaising and building strong relationships with our agencies to ensure timely delivery and accuracy in materials produced
- Proactively managing potential risks to Aldi
- Monitoring and controlling adherence to all deadlines
- Continuous improvement within role, coming up with proactive ideas and campaigns
- Assisting with the creation of briefs and communications
- Supporting the delivery of the departmental strategy as required
About You:
- A-levels or equivalent
- Professional work experience in Communications/PR
- Excellent verbal/written communication with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced team
- A positive attitude
- Confident Communication skills
- Able to manage a varied workload and multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team
- Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Salary starting from £34,690 rising to £40,510
- 24-month Fixed Term Contract
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
