Our studios are considered one of the foremost motion picture and television production and post-production facilities in the world. They inform, engage, and transport audiences to new worlds. The key to that lies with our Studio Operations group, which includes areas like soundstage/backlot set rentals, events, design, culinary, construction, landscaping and much more. Your New Role…
To assist the management, operation and administration of events at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London to maximise revenue, convert sales opportunities and provide industry leading standards of customer service for visitors and clients.
Your Role Accountabilities…
With the Event Manager (and the Show Experience team), help to position Events at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London (WBSTL) as a world class business, and an integral part of services on offer.
Deliver in conjunction with the Events Manager and the Show Experience team a calendar of Consumer and Private client events.
Ensure that the preparation of all planners, rotas and schedules are up to date and that all events are appropriately staffed.
Ensure commercial partners (third parties) work is in accordance with guidelines and to agreed standards.
Collate commercial data, market intelligence and feedback information on performance.
Show innovation to generate new ideas for new income streams and business opportunities, collaborating and taking part in department idea and product development creative sessions.
Manage enquiries in a professional manner and meeting prospective clients and walk them through events at WBSTL, converting to sales opportunities.
Develop new products and services to meet the needs of visitors and clients.
Ensure our sales targets are achieved by fully maximising all opportunities and managing the prospective and existing sales pipeline.
Manage the administration of purchase orders in accordance with Warner Bros. policy.
Qualifications & Experience…
Experience of working within an events team or an events environment is essential.
Administrative experience in a similar environment (typically the tourism, leisure or heritage industry).
Experience of having worked in an environment where emphasis is placed on service, standards and commercial management.
Interact effectively with clients & staff, providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Problem solving across all areas on a daily basis.
Proactively seeks out opportunities to increase sales.
Independently work as part of a team with a flexible approach.
Working Pattern…
40 hours a week working shifts.
Because of the adaptive nature of this role flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business.
Participate in cover of the Studio Tour as necessary including weekend, bank holiday, school holiday and late evening cover in rotation with other team members.
Support the team at WBSL as part of a duty management team (as part of a seven-day week rota including weekends and evenings).
Department Overview…
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter (Studio Tour) is a behind-the-scenes walking tour and the only place in the world which features the authentic sets, costumes and props used in the Harry Potter film series. Visitors are invited to walk through the real Great Hall of Hogwarts, step onto the original Hogwarts Express, learn wand combat, ride a broomstick and taste Butterbeer.
Since opening in March 2012, the Studio Tour has welcomed over 10 million visitors. It operates on a pre-book only basis with a peak day accommodating 7000 visitors. The tour is open seven days a week with an events business that runs private corporate events in addition to evening events for consumers. The Studio is an ever evolving and growing visitor attraction, delivering a world class experience from the first point contact with our visitors to the last.
