NHBC is seeking a talented, self-motivated Events Assistant to support the implementation of NHBC’s annual corporate (owned, paid and internal) events programme. What you’ll be doing

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of NHBC’s owned, paid and internal events
  • Support on the administration and smooth running of each event including pre-event, post-event and ‘on the day’ activity, including marketing communications activity as applicable
  • Work closely with the Planning, Design & Copywriting, Digital and Press teams to support campaigns focused on specific events
  • Co-ordinate all collateral and printing requirements for each event
  • Research and scope out new venues, event ideas and new opportunities including sponsorship, virtual options and platforms
  • Book travel and accommodation for events as directed
  • Maintain and update key event databases including guest lists in the CRM
  • Travel extensively within the UK and be away from home overnight
  • Work to very tight deadlines, with a flexible approach to working occasional unsociable hours as dictated by the events programme.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience being involved and working within an events function, is desirable but not required
  • Full UK Driving license
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Administrative skills, proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work on multiple processes at once, managing each to individual deadlines.
