We are looking for someone to join our training and development team, supporting the administration of events. We are a fun, happy go lucky team who all value working in Children's Services. About the role

This role is pivotal in the smooth running of our events but also in the day to day administration of our facilities. The role will provide hands-on support for daily training centre tasks, ensure any training, meetings or conferences are supported to the highest service standards and liaise with a range of professionals both internal to the team and external.

As Events and Training Facilities Administrator, you will be responsible for

  • Dealing with telephone and direct enquiries in a prompt and effective manner, ensuring information provided is accurate with queries effectively prioritised
  • Monitoring, triaging and processing all incoming emails into the respective team inbox
  • Providing a welcoming and professional service, being the first point of contact, coordinating learner/ delegate journey experience throughout the entirety of their visit,
  • Coordinating face to face /virtual L&D events, liaising with the trainer and/or facilitator to ensure their event runs smoothly and covering reception when needed

About you

To be Events and Training Facilities Administrator, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:

  • Experience of working in a business support capacity, providing a wide range of administrative support
  • Good customer service skills - experience of interacting with internal and external customers, including routine enquiries from members of the public, which could be face to face, receiving and responding to incoming communication
  • Able to react tactfully and sympathetically to requests from customers and to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience of keeping basic records, both manual and electronic, including confidential records
