Role Requirements:
To work as a team managing the movement of motorcycles within and between the 4th Dimension sites using the Location App to accurately place bikes in locations at every move.
The role will include the safe and efficient use of the Fork Lift Truck (FLT), when necessary to move bikes on and off skates and on and off delivery vans.
You will need to be happy working in an unsupervised environment and use your initiative to cover tasks in a timely and methodical way.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
· To accurately record on company systems all information relevant to the work of the SCT.
· To liaise with all departments in respect of motorcycle movements and facilitate their needs.
· To ensure that kitchens and toilets are replenished with stock on a daily basis or as and when required.
· To maintain the cleanliness of the production areas in both units in Alpha Way and the two units in the EBP.
· To be the POC for visiting engineers to the EBP and to record their visits accurately on the appropriate company systems.
· To arrange for the transport and movement of bikes (using a dedicated van), ensuring all bikes are in the appropriate location in respect of the workflow, to facilitate the delivery of bikes for the logistic team drivers.
· To maintain the van in an efficient and clean condition as per company policy and reporting all defects.
· The safe and efficient use of the FLT when necessary to move bikes on and off skates and on and off delivery vans.
· Act as directed by the SCT team leader or his deputy with ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
· Develop a knowledge and skills base to operate within the team within their own right.
· Liaise on a daily basis with the logistics team re bike movements required for delivery, ensuring the process is SMART.
· Liaise on a daily basis with the Salvage department reference the movement of bikes, ensuring the process is SMART.
· Liaise with other key stakeholders internal and external to ensure all bike movements are SMART.
· Develop sufficient skills in Microsoft Excel and Word to monitor and report on production activity.
· Utilising space efficiently to protect our assets (bikes), ensuring Salvage bikes retain their value and don’t suffer additional damage whilst in our care.
· Be responsible for the security of all our buildings when opening and closing them. All remote areas are to be locked and secured when not in use.
· Develop advanced skills in the use and development of Proclaim and Advance software and its data interfaces.
· Respond promptly and pro-actively to incoming telephone calls and correspondence by use of telephone, e-mail and letter.
· Escalating issues encountered or observed in a timely manner to line manager.
· Assist with ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements (including but not restricted to TCF principles, the DPA and HSE).
· Communicating sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner.
Skills Required
· Motorcycle handling experience desired
· 1 years previous experience
· Experience of working on own initiative
· Ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally to the business
· Proven track record of working in a team environment
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize a busy workload

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
