Job description
Hi, we are Blue Light Security. We provide security services across the Uk with a emphasis on the London area.
We now have a vacancy for Casual Events Officers, providing security at a range of events throughout Spring and Summer 2023.
We are ideally looking for officers who have previous event experience although this is not essential as full training will be provided. You must have excellent customer service skills, a helpful and can do attitude and be able to travel to and work at various sites across London (Croydon, Sutton & Wandsworth)
About The Role
The main role of an event officer is to ensure safety for all that are attending a venue and the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Working to ensure the safety and security of the event as well as protecting its employees, assets, and its visitors at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor License
- Experience of working within the Security Industry
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to remain calm and alert under pressure and during emergencies
- Willingness to learn and to complete essential training
Desirable Skills
- Level 2 in Crowd Safety
Additional Information
SIA Security Licence required for the role All applicants must hold a clear 5 year check able employment/education history
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Weekends only
