Event Cleaning Operatives Required
Newcastle Utilita Arena, Arena Way, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, NE4 7NA
22.00pm - 6.00am (post event)
Salary – £11.00 per hour
We are currently looking for experienced Cleaners to join our events team based in the Newcastle Utilita Arena, Arena Way, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, NE4 7NA
As an Events Cleaning Operative Tasks would include:
- Dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming
- Litter picking
- Clean surfaces inclusive of glass partitions, mirrors and all surfaces where instructed.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners inclusive of chemical dilution systems.
- Check all electrical equipment before and after use. Report all damage to Management.
- Collect and dispose of bin rubbish
- Service, clean and replenish toilets within assigned working area or as instructed by Management.
- Toilet Cleaning - Urinals, Bowls , Sinks etc.
- General COVID cleaning - wiping surfaces etc.
- All other reasonable duties as instructed by Management
- Speak, write and understand English language
- Great communication skills inclusive of telephone and radio use
